A merit list will be created if there is a tie in the final scores, taking into account the grades earned in mathematics first, followed by physics, chemistry, English, and computer-related expertise in that order. Candidates with lesser academic standing will be given preference if the tie continues. Please be aware that there is no separate publication for these tie-break criterion marks.
Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the BSc CSIT Entrance Exam, candidates must meet the following:
- Successfully completed 12 years of schooling in the science stream or equivalent from any recognized university or board by Tribhuvan University, having studied Physics and Mathematics (100 marks each).
- Achieved at least a second division in +2 or equivalent, OR secured C grade or higher in all subjects in Grades 11 and 12, including Physics and Mathematics.
- OR passed A-level Science, having studied Physics and Mathematics (100 marks each), with at least a D grade.
- OR completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from CTEVT with a second division, including Physics and Mathematics (100 marks each).
- If education was obtained abroad, candidates must submit an equivalent certificate from the Curriculum Development Center, Sano Thimi, Bhaktapur.
Note: Students from both Biology and Mathematics groups in +2 level are eligible to apply.

The entrance exam carries 100 marks in total, divided into objective questions across five subjects based on the I.Sc./Grade 11 and 12 curriculum or equivalent:
